. . .and I certainly didn't expect the Save Preston Bus Station Campain to pick-up on yesterday's post so quickly - or at all. Here's their point of view, expressed in a comment on the blog.
I think they have a point, especially if the alternative is no bus station at all.

Having worked a lot in public transport, especially in Stafford, I know just how rubbish it is not to have a central transport hub. Plus, I lived in and near Preston for 18 years, so I also have a personal opinion about that particular landmark.
