Hilary and I paid our first visit to Starcross at Uplands Basin today. It made a handy stopping-off point on the seven-hour journey down to West Wales for Dad's funeral tomorrow.
We had morning coffee on board, dropped off a bag of logs for later in the winter and also picked up my 'phone, which I left behind when we delivered her there - I've managed without it for a whole week, but I'm now using it to post this.
Uplands is only a few miles off the A49, the direct route to Wales so I suspect it will come in handy again.
