Last Saturday lunchtime, this bus broke down on the narrowest part of one of the main thoroughfares in Lancaster City Centre.
It couldn't have happened in a worse place. Behind it are some of the busiest bus stops in Lancaster, whilst the street, which is one-way, also forms the only exit from a busy city centre car park.
The bus inspectors, the engineers and even the police got involved, but no one could get it going again.
The police closed the street so that cars could leave the car park by going the wrong way along it to get onto the inner ring road, whilst buses were diverted away from the area altogether, making life difficult for passengers.
Eventually, after about an hour, someone had a brain wave and decided to move it back into a parking bay so that other traffic could pass. Here's how they did it.
The "Penny Bank" pub, seen on the left of the first photo provided an excellent vantage point to watch the fun!
