Not a lot going on at the moment, so here are two photos of Goole Docks in 1979 uncovered duirng the never-ending colour slide to digital conversion project.
I'll have to see if I can find you some more then! I've always taken "barge" to be a generic term that encompasses all sorts of inland craft (except narrowboats, obviously) whereas a "keel" was originally defined - and distinguished from a ketch or a sloop by the sort of rigging it had and the term just transferred to motor vessels of similar hull shape.
So, I would say that these vessels are "keels" but also "barges"!
