I love pictures of working narrowboats, especially loaded ones, so when Geoff and Mags posted this one of John Jackson's "Roach" on their blog "Seyella's Journey" I couldn't resist pinching it for mine.
I hope they don't mind. Its good to think that not long after the photo was taken "Roach" would have been passing "Starcross" on its mooring at Norbury Junction. I wish I'd been there to see it (and to buy a bag or two of coal).
