Reflections of Battersea

One of the joys of our on-line mooring is watching the regular comings and goings of the boats on the visitor moorings on the other side of the cut. For most of this winter we had the pleasure of waking up to a view of  ex-working boat Battersea, which had presumably taken out a winter mooring on the otherwise 48-hour moorings opposite and here she is on one of those wonderful clear and sunny days towards the end of March.

I could tell you more about Battersea but I'd only be repeating the information from Matt Parrott's historic working boats website, so you may as well read the original here.

If you get the chance go over and look inside Battersea to see the quality of the work that has been carried out in the last few years. Its all been done to a very high standard.
