By now you should have been reading about Starcross' celebratory trip over the re-opened Croxton embankment to her new home at Uplands Basin. But shortly after my last post I received the news that my father was seriously ill in hospital in my home town of Llanelli and not expected to survive. Fortunately I was able to get to him in time to say goodbye. He died last night at the grand old age of 93.
He was a lovely, lovely man.
Posting this is part of my coping strategy and as it appears that November is a peak time for deaths and his local church is fully-booked for funerals until the week after next, another part of that strategy will be getting aboard Starcross and making that move.
You will read about it here but you will also understand if blogging isn't my top priority at present.

My thoughts are with you Jim - a sad time.
Please accept my condolences Jim
My thoughts are with you.
We had new boat delivered 1000 - message about mum 1600 - she died 0200 next day. Went boating same day - what a great help it was to get away.
Remember the good times
So sorry Jim, just enjoy taking time to remember your dad. Be thinking of you as you go through the process of the necessary arrangements.
Our prayers go with you.
