High Tide at Morecambe

With high tides, strong winds and flooding forecast and with the authorities asking people to stay away from the north-west coast at high tide this lunchtime, what better to do than join the crowds on the prom in Morecambe, just a short bus ride away from home in Lancaster.
And as you will see, it was well worth the trip.

The Power of the Waves

The Promenade was officially closed to pedestrians.

After all the excitement I had a fish and chip lunch and caught the bus home!
