At the Bottom of my Garden

At the bottom of my garden is the West Coast Main Line (That's "main line" by the way - not the increasingly common spelling "mainline", which was originally a drugs reference!). Every Wednesday morning, between July and September something special happens when "The Fellsman" excursion comes powering up the bank from Lancaster!

I did have to walk to the end of the road this morning to get this shot as the view from my actual garden is obscured by trees and the fact that the line is in a cutting, but even so. . .
