Norbury Interlude
I've just got back visiting Starcross at Norbury Junction. Hilary dropped me off there on her way down to Hereford on Sunday afternoon. We had a quick lunch and a walk along the Shelmore embankment before she carried on with her journey and I lit the fire and then the oil lamp and a few candles and settled down to enjoy the peace and quiet in what remained of the afternoon on board. It was very still, no passing boats and, for once, not even a generator or engine to be heard - until I started Starcross up at six-o' clock to put some power back into the batteries for the rest of the evening.
